Sidelines
This cartoon refers to a feud between SADTU and management at the local (Eastern Cape) education dept. It's an ongoing thing - now they are embarking on "endless meetings" aka sitting around and doing no work! They even forcibly prevented schools from receiving exam papers last term. Can you believe it?! I try to be neutral but having worked for the EC Edu dept for about 20 years, I make an exception in my utter contempt for the edu unions.
