Well, yesterday for a cartoon direction I had a choice between EC police commissioner nepotism ( nine friends and relatives of his wife, 3 relatives of his own, six members of his church - his excuse "I am not the only one doing this" - Sat. Daily Dispatch), Cele's dodgy deal, or Mthethwa's pathetic excuse for the dodgy Wa Afrika arrest.
SERVAMUS = We serve us, God help the rest

KEEPING IT IN DA FAMILY: The Eastern Cape Police Commissioner 'General' Mpumelelo Landu has been found to have employed at least 13 family members and a bunch of friends. He justifies this nepotism by claiming that other civil servants are doing the same thing. MILES doesn't see it that way. The cartoonist says (in the column to the left of the cartoon) that he was spoiled for choice when considering a cartoon about our dodgy police force.
