Here's my cartoon for Sunday's Scoop!

ON THE SUBJECT
Losing control of the police is a nightmare situation and i wanted a cartoon that wasn't too specific to a particular incident.
I hope i'm wrong but i suspect we'll be stuck with cowboys for cops for a while yet.

ON THE CARTOON
I'm rather happy with the composition here. Normally i try to view the scene almost horizontally, or else (occasionally) from a high vantage point looking sharply down. This time i tilted the "floor" up slightly, but not dramatically. It helped show the blood sploot nicely, which was necessary to do but without cluttering the image.
There's less Bic Finepoint hatching than usual...not sure why...but i don't miss it.

Powerful Jack! Not sure whether it's conscious or not, but you have a knack for creating cartoons with longevity; like the one that made its way to an uprising in India, and is still being circulated on the various social media. This is another such cartoon. It has no time nor place. Watch it fly!

Dr Jack replied:
i wish i could say it's conscious. I'm reminded of an interview i heard with Lionel Ritchie who said he needed a Number 1 song for his next album, so he just wrote one (All Night Long)! Just like that.
I can't do hits on demand, no matter how i try. However when i saw this flow out of my pencil i DID think it had "legs".
