The man who would be King (of SA)
Cuan Miles has diligently covered the Eastern Cape story about the AmaThembu tribe's secessionist ambitions to break from the republic announced by AbaThembu King Buyelekhaya Dalindyebo in 2009 (after he was convicted of culpable homicide, arson, assault, kidnapping and defeating the ends of justice and sentenced to 15 years in prison).
The King is appealing the conviction and has demanded R900 000 in damages and an apology from Jacob Zuma for the humiliation caused by the 5 year trial to the tribe. He has also renewed his increasingly ambitious demands for independence, as this cartoon demonstrates.
