The BCM mayor is Zukiswa Ncitha and was last seen on a junket to Sweden. This is obviously a major moyoral duty. Remember, our previous mayor, the honourable Mayor Faku (very apt name, describes what she thinks of the ratepayers of Buffalo City) when she went to Turkey and used the mayoral credit card to buy herself a leather jacket ? then came back and bought groceries, petrol and KFC with it too.
 
The other guy in the cartoon is the city manager, Andile Fani, who is also a deployee but seems to be honest (so far).
 
Here's a fun fact.  East London is currently twinned with the following cities around the world - Leiden, Netherlands; Qinhuangdao, China; the region of Tuscany, Italy; Oldenburg, Germany; Milwaukee, USA; and Galve, Sweden.  As you can see, this gives our mayor plenty of opportunities to go off on overseas trips.
