[With reference to the little worm at the bottom of this cartoon in tribute to Weyni Deysel]:

"I met Weyni briefly when I was a junior artist at Perskor in the Eighties. He drew for Die Vaderland and I worked under Lou Henning on Die Transvaler. It was an insight to the old school of cartooning and a great learning period for me. Weyni was also a very talented caricaturist. It's a loss of a great talent."
