SO SORRY FOR THE BREAK

We apologise for all the inconvenience caused by our website being offline for much of the past month or so, and thank our many readers who took the time to write to us to express their concern.

The problem was an accumulation of errors which were founded in the fact that our website is built on old technology (which was new, 6.5 years ago), and which urgently needs upgrading. We have lots of exciting plans for its new development but, being a service that has never derived any profit, we need to establish a viable model to pay for the upgrade and ensure its sustainability. Cuan, Miles Ahead!

CUAN MILES WINS 2014 SIKUVILE JOURNALISM AWARD, MGOBHOZI AND JERM ALSO RECOGNISED.

East London cartoonist Cuan MILES of the Daily Dispatch has won the coveted Standard Bank Sikuvile Journalism Award for the Editorial Cartoons category, edging out two award winning cartoonists; Wilson MGOBHOZI (The Star) and JERM (eNCA.com).
