Cartoonists Reveal their BIG ISSUES

THIS AFRICARTOONJAM contains the work of 16 leading cartoonists (and a top designer) who came together in the biggest collaboration of its kind in South Africa for the December 2011 'Collector's Edition' of The Big Issue, which hits the Cape Town streets on December 1 (see HERE for details of the publication).

Cartoonists John Curtis, Dr Jack, Stidy, Mark Wiggett, Miles, Stent, Nanda Soobben, Zapiro, F Esterhuyse, Niël van Vuuren, Jerm, Grogan, Rico, Gavin Thomson, Mgobhozi and ND Mazin each contributed a panel, themed "My Big Issue" and they were patched together into a single piece of art by designer Michelle Curtis. The project was co-ordinated by africartoons.com and each of the cartoonists will be offered to keep their panels at the end of next year as we try to double the effort by inviting 16 more.
