DAVID ANDERSON (ANDY) began his cartooning career at 'The Natal Witness' in the 1970's and drew for 'The Pretoria News', 'The Rand Daily Mail', 'The Star' and 'The Sunday Times' before emigrating to Canada. There, his cartoons have appeared in most of the national newspapers as well as 'The Boston Globe', 'LA Times' and Time Magazine and he is syndicated by The New York Times Syndicate. Andy is a two-time winner of the Standard Bank Cartoon of The Year Award, and has published "The Cartoons of Andy" in 1990. Presently, he continues to provide a weekly feature cartoon to 'The Sunday Times' from his home in Toronto.
