OK, WE REALISE THIS IS NOT A CARTOON... but sometimes exceptions must be made, and in this case we think the powerful message conveyed with such brevity in this headline poster is so exceptional that it deserves a place amongst the nation's greatest cartoons!

This headline achieves what most editorial cartoonists try to achieve with a good cartoon: it makes a bold statement in a clever and thought provoking way - that FIFA will score out of this World Cup, and South Africa won't - often adopting contemporary themes (in this case the clever employment of a soccer scoreline), in a concise way that is also graphically pleasing (both achieved here with the powerful typography).
