Paul the Octopus' Retirement

One of the true stars of this year's FIFA Soccer World cup was Paul the Octopus, who, via the arcane and mystical process of choosing to eat a particular mussell, divined the winners of all 8 matches it was asked to predict. He became a Worldwide phenominon after predicting his home country of Germany's rise through the tournament, before turning on them and seeing Spain as the eventual victors.

When it comes to the question of retirement, MARK WIGGETT shows how Paul might have taken a liking to his new-found fame, and decided to take the same approach to leaving his job as the 74 year old Head of FIFA, Sepp Blatter.
