Thirteen South African Defence Force troops were killed in the Central African Republic. When the M&G ran the story linking the South African troop presence there with the interests of politically connected individuals, the ANC accused the M&G of ‘pissing on the graves of gallant fighters’ -- an open invitation to all cartoonists, and this was my response.
