The original caption for this cartoon had prosecutor Gerrie Nel, in reply to the witness' assertion that "Oscar has a condition", saying "Sure. He doesn't have a leg to stand on!". Our editor's felt that the joke was tired and in poor taste. On reflection, we had to agree with them, and we're much happier with the final result, which we put together at the eleventh hour using the original artwork but revising the dialogue. It's not often that such a complete text edit works, so the fact that this was an improvement was a bonus for us.
