This cartoon deals with our singing president contemplating who to appoint as NIA boss. Gives a whole new meaning to the phrases "shadowy figure" and "shaiky decision".
MILES also comments on the dimensions of some of his cartoons: Some of the cartoons, like this one, are shallower, than others. This depends on the length of the 'Insight' article appearing beneath it. Naturally the cartoon has to be compromised for some crappy opinion piece, but, hey, we cartoonists are flexible. At least they don't just squash it.

SHAIK UP, SHAKE DOWN: Zuma appoints his friend, ally and financial benefactor to a high powered spy chief position in the National Intelligence Agency (NIA). The appointment caused many a raised eyebrow - not least of all MILES'.
