There's the tragic massacre of illegal miners by security guards employed by Mandela and Zuma family members who own the discredited mining group Aurora. There's the matter of blood diamonds, stolen from the earth to support dictators and fuel their bloody wars. And there's the war crimes trial of Charles Taylor, who gave a batch of these dirty diamonds to supermodel Naomi Campbell (who in turn donated them to a representative of the Nelson Mandela's foundation, but he pocketed them and was encouraged to resign as a result). Huh? Mother Anderson's right; the truth is just way weirder than anything anyone could possibly make up. Cartoonists, all together now; "Hi, ho, hi, ho..."
