FAST FOOD AND CONNECTIONS: The ANC has been doing a roaring trade on the side of its NGC convention, offering businessmen 'face time' with the president for R500 000 a pop. That buys them dinner with the Pres (and goodness knows what else). It's a 'party fund raising' practice undertaken by American presidents too - but that makes it no less dodgy than it is. In his 'Drive-Thru Dinner with the President' cartoon, Wilson MGOBHOZI reveals the crassness and dubious intent of the exercise.
