Once the Idea for thIs cartoon was accepted by the editors I had to decide on how I was going to illustrate this cartoon in a manner that would unambiguously leave an indelible memory in the readers’ minds.
I wanted Zuma’s words in the thought bubble to remind people that he (Zuma) will be getting more ‘baby showers’ and father many more children, considering the growing number of his wives. this is one of my fantasy cartoons for which I received positive feedback, largely because it provided an interesting, light-hearted opinion on president Zuma. I’m sure Zuma might have laughed at himself too, well... if he saw this cartoon.
