AfriForum is taking action against the government's renewed desire to interfere in sports, specifically racial quotas.
"Political interference and the enforcement of race quotas in South African sport compelled AfriForum and Solidarity to fight this case up to international level. A delegation from the civil rights watchdog and labour union will this week submit complaints to five international sporting bodies, among which World Rugby."
Racial quotas are noble in intent because they're an attempt to create opportunities for previously disadvantaged players, but what they actually create is discrimination based on skin colour. Which, of course, is anti-Constitutional and results in increased racial tension and subpar performance. And no sane person wants that.
