I probably should have labelled the the doctor (Nathi Mthethwa) , since not everyone knows what the Police Minister looks like (or, in this instance, what he’s supposed to look like). He was quite vocal against a recent study on corruption in the SA Police, so my hope is that some readers will join the dots.

Thin Flat Blue Line
THE BROKEN BLUE LINE HAS FLATLINED! A recent study titled 'The Broken Blue Line' has found numerous instances of police involvement in violent crime and corruption. Police Minister Mthethwa has defended his force, calling the report an exaggeration. JERM agrees that the report isn't true: "the blue line's not broken... it's dead!" claims this cartoon.
