A True Man, a Prince and a Shining Example to all

A TRUE MAN, A PRINCE... and a shining example to all! Controversial Beaufort West mayor Truman Prince pleaded guilty in the Laingsburg Magistrate's Court this week after being found to be driving with three times the legal limit of alcohol in his blood. He has paid a R2000 fine and his licence was neither endorsed nor withheld. In a separate case, charges of kidnapping against him were struck from the roll due to a lack of evidence. Prince was alleged to have forced a man into the boot of his car and driven him to the outskirts of town. (Hmmm... Little wonder there's a reluctance to give evidence!)
