SAMWU Demands....
BEYOND ALL REASON: A wage increase of 18% (twice what would be regarded as high given current inflationary and market conditions) is counterbalanced here by JERM's additional demand of better striking conditions; a far more reasonable demand. After all, how can the City expect its workers to strike amid all these upturned dustbins, littered streets, and wanton vandalism, violence and intimidation?
