Malema on Youth Day
CARRYING THEMSELVES: Brandan employs the iconic image of Hector Pieterson - which captures the sacrifice made by the youth of 1976 - to illustrate a new trend amongst the youth, of carrying one's own selfish agenda. Julius Malema is depicted here carrying himself up the stairs of power in the ANC, bearing the flag of Jacob Zuma and oblivious of the significance of Youth Day.
