Jerm's cartoon continues with the theme of the ANC's "One Love" campaign for responsible sex - and the President's interpretation of it - and simultaneously acknowledges the late reggae star's birthday.

This is the first instance that the cartoonist has dressed the president in a condom (on the wrong head); a device that he would reuse in later cartoons.
