Tutu Stands Up for Monster
HE'S NO MONSTER: Archbishop Emeritus Desmond Tutu has written to The Star newspaper in a plea for the press to stop calling murder and rape accused Johan Kotze the "Modimolle Monster". Kotze stands accused of orchestrating the vicious torture and gang rape of his wife and then executing her son.
“He may indeed be guilty of inhuman, ghastly and monstrous deeds, but he is not a monster", says Tutu. “No, Mr Johan Kotze remains a child of God with the capacity to become a saint".
