Here's my second cartoon for the Pink, the corrective rape and brutal murder of Zoliswa Nkonyana and the sentencing of the four accused to 18 years in prison.
The sentencing of the accused took over six years, after various postponements and even an incident where some of the accused escaped from holding cells.
The sentence is a benchmark in that it ruled the incident as a hate crime and a direct result of the victim openly living as a lesbian.
