IT DIDN'T FEEL RIGHT when we began uploading cartoons on Friday morning after seeing the horrific events which occurred at Marikana Mine the day before, and when we saw the course taken by fellow satirists Hayibo.com we realised we must do the same and take a moment from laughing out of respect for the deceased, their families and our shocked nation.
We'll be back with cartoons about this and other tragedies that are playing themselves out in South Africa and the rest of this planet on Monday, and humour will resume its duty in making the news palatable, healing where it can, and remonstrating where it must.
