Gordian Knot
MILES PLAYS AROUND with the term "Hung Parliament" which is what Britain is faced with following the inconclusive outcome of its recent election. The three contenders, Gordon Brown, David Cameron and Nick Clegg all claim to know the ropes, but the fact is that none of them can govern without tying themselves in with at least one of the other two. While some commentators feel a hung parliament is the worst possible result, many others have enthused that it could be the best: "Hang them all!" is their cry which is echoed across the internet.
