Braai the Beloved Country

'BRAAING' IS A GREAT SOUTH AFRICAN PASTIME, with a large portion of the population taking every opportunity to grill superior cuts of SA meat on an open fire, under sunny skies. Supermarkets have been quick to capitalise on this passion, by rebranding National Heritage Day as National Braai Day. But some of these cartoons argue that this is going too far; as the traditional braai is not representative of the heritage of most.
