Surmounting World Cup Expectations
GO TELL IT ON THE MOUNTAIN: Brandan trumpets the successful launch of the Soccer World Cup from the mountaintop of pessimism which declared that South Africa would not have its infrastructure ready in time. The vuvuzela trumpeter has brought with him completed roads, airport, trains, buses and stadia and delivered an almost perfect opening weekend of the event. All good reason to be blowing his own horn!
