Paul the Octopus
At these late stages of the FIFA Soccer World Cup, every moment could be considered 'decisive' - Uruguay's 'Hand of God' is one of the more notorious. JERM (Jeremy Nell) feels that Spain's key moment was when they gained the support of Paul - an occult German octopus that has (to date) managed to predict the outcome of every match it has been asked - including the Spanish 1-0 victory over Germany.
