Obituary cartoons are often challenging in many respects, especially where respect is respectfully concerned. I’m not one of those cartoonists who offends for the sake of offence.
However, I’m sure that some readers will find my Fiona Coyne obituary offensive in light of the (possible) cause of death: Weakest Link presenter and theatre actress Fiona Coyne was found dead in her Cape Town home yesterday.
Paramedics found pills and a suicide note next to her body. Suicide? If so, then that makes my cartoon kind of eerie.

Fiona Coyne RIP
"YOU'RE THE WEAKEST LINK. GOODBYE." Those were the cold words with which the popular host of the game show would dismiss her contestants as they dropped out of competition. Yesterday the South African actress and TV celebrity dropped out of her own show. JERM's tasteful tribute reflects the loss many will feel on Fiona Coyne's passing.
