Gravy train threatens to derail delivery
ON TRACK FOR A DISASTER: F ESTERHUYSE loves drawing trains, often employing them as metaphors for the ANC juggernaut. Is it because they symbolise the proverbial gravy train? Here he uses a mighty freight train to depict the ruling party, heavily laden with Education, Security, Healthcare and Service Delivery, all of which it is delivering to the people. But there's trouble on the tracks threatening to derail the delivery.
