I should have published this cartoon yesterday (which was World Press Freedom Day), but for obvious reasons, I didn’t.
While press freedom is indeed worsening in parts of the world, press freedom is also improving in parts of the world. Consider recent events in the Arab regions, especially northern Africa.
And consider the revolutionary influence of social media tools such as Twitter and Facebook.
