This cartoon has generated a tremendous amount of response for the cartoonist, including requests to reprint, a radio interview, and an inbox of congratulatory messages. Fellow cartoonists Zapiro and Yalo have also complimented Jerm on it, with the latter saying "that's award winning shit".
