The Santa Clause
THE SANTA CLAUSE: Gavin Thomson's vigorous campaign against drug and alcohol abuse (and dealing in illegal substances) enlists Santa to its mission. The scourge of substance abuse is one of the Western Cape province's biggest challenges, and the city council has undertaken to evict anyone living on council property and dealing in drugs.
Santa himself has reformed - and been clean for almost a hundred years - since he made his name marketing doses of cocaine contained in bottles of coca cola. But that's another story for another time.
