CARL LILJA of Bloemfontein wrote in The Citizen: "I think Siwela must be commended for the cartoon published in The Citizen (June 30). It did not make me laugh, as one would expect from a cartoon. Just the opposite, in fact. To my mind this picture is worth the proverbial 1 000 words. It is the perfect satirical commentary on the near-terminal state of our country’s education system".
