ALASTAIR FINDLAY began his cartooning career in the liberating Afrikaans newspaper 'Vrye Weekblad'in the 1980s and has produced comics and cartoons for alternative and mainstream publications ever since then.

A self-confessed technophobe (one of many amongst local cartoonists), Alistair plies his work the old-fashioned way and would, until recently, deliver it by car rather than battle with scanners and e-mails!

He now produces weekly cartoons for the 'Sunday Sun', 'Sondag' and 'Son', which he delivers electronically.
