Penguin Declares JERM WARFARE!
JERM'S FIRST BOOK.
After seven years of plying his trade as a cartoonist, Jeremy Nell (AKA 'JERM'), has announced that he has struck a deal with Penguin Books to publish a collection of his editorial, strip and gag cartoons from The Times, Sunday Times, The New Age and most recently Eyewitness News.

SA COMIC STRIP COMES ALIVE ON TV!
TREKNET's two main protagonists, Boet and John (through their cartoonist alter egos Gavin and Dave), have announced that they will debut in October with their own TV show. Their popular cartoon strip has entertained thousands of daily readers accross South Africa and abroad over the past nine years, and this news comes as an exciting development for them."It’s been five years in the making," says Boet of the show which will launch at 8pm on October 7th on Afrikaans station KykNet. Boet and John thanked Penguin Films and producer Roberta Durrant and Di Riddel for bringing their characters to life, and their families, friends and newspapers for their support.The live action comedy series stars Jodi Abrahams as Boet Pieterse, Leon Kruger as John Smith and Erica Wessels as Sannie.
