Aimless SAPS
SA COPS CAN'T SHOOT TO SAVE THEIR LIVES (OR OURS)!
Cartoonists have responded enthusiastically to a recent report which reveals that:
* 27 000 SA Police on active duty failed firearms proficiency tests.
* That's 17% of the 157 700 police officers who took the tests.
This follows the militarisation of the police force and the instruction to police officers to "Shoot to Kill".
Last year, the police admitted to losing 13 500 weapons in 5 years to 2010.
The former and current Police Commissioners have both been accused of corruption.
The former top cop is currently serving a prison sentence and the current one is suspended.
